Missionvale flood relief

Missionvale flood victims given a meal of hot soup by the Al Fidaa Foundation

Yusuf Lorgat and his team; Ridwaan Abrahams, Abubaker kali, Latiefa Bosman and Jamiel pitched up at the Missionvale care center, cooked the meal on the premisis and distributed a helping of hot soup and bread to victims who were displaced from their homes by flood over the Easter weekend. The bread were donated by another donor.

Al Fidaa Foundation has established a small disaster management unit which will operate whenever disaster strikes in and around the Metro.

We served approximately 500 women, children and men with a welcome cup of soup.

If necessary we will repeat the distribution again the next day.
